Ensign Downs

Set in the foothills behind the Capitol, this area offers some pretty remarkable views. Development began around 1960 and was slow going until 1990 when it picked up at a rapid clip. This neighborhood is very appealing for professionals with families. Ensign Downs is only five minutes from downtown and ten minutes from the University of Utah Research Park area. This area has the city’s only gated community.
