Candlelight Christmas
This Is The Place Heritage Park
www.thisistheplace.org

Journey back in time to experience the quiet magic of a pioneer Christmas, lit by candlelight and warmed up with hot cocoa and other treats. You can join costumed "villagers" for singing, dancing, dinner, readings of Dickens's Christmas Carol, and carriage and sleigh rides. It's a fun experience in this replica of a pioneer village on the city's east bench.

Festival of Lights
Murray

Tractor-drawn wagons take visitors on a 20-minute tour of the grounds of this historic farm in Murray, where more than 50 displays using 100,000 lights illuminate the landscape. Lights form the shapes of farm animals, trains, fountains, and a toyland fantasy. Santa's workshop, featuring St. Nick himself, is the last stop.

Festival of Trees
Downtown Salt Lake City

Utahns love the holidays, so this festival draws a big crowd of over 75,000 every year. You'll see hundreds of ornately decorated trees, wreaths, and a huge selection of spiffy gifts created by both local and out-of-state craftspeople.
